Ann’s Hybrid: Screaming Strawberry
Ann’s Hybrid: Sparkly
It’s Sparkly. Very Sparkly. Sparkly. Like a Holiday.
Hottie
Plant grows large. Speckled veins of red when the light is right.
Ann’s Hybrid: Skin Condition
It started from seed this year, but it does look a lot like Henna.
Flying Carpet Zinger
Wildfire Ignition
Incredibly shocking red color!
Ann’s Hybrid: Real Horrorshow
Update from 2015: This variety sure sports a lot, as I’ve noticed lots of variegated/mosaic types do. Reminds me of Fingerpaint, but a warmer color or “autumn” version of it. One thing I’ve observed about the sporting mosaic (Fingerpaint, Twist and Twirl, etc.) is that they will sport to a solid, but I haven’t noticed…
Ann’s Hybrid: Raspberry Dazzle
Update from 2015: The color seems a little off in these photos…maybe it was taken during the “golden hour” because this plant isn’t as orange. It’s more magenta-red. Original post from 2014: An update on the progress of this one that I debuted last December. Now that the leaves are maturing, they’re less round than…
Ann’s Hybrid: Funky Toad
Update from 2015: Update from 2014: This one started growing from a seedling last year and I named it just a few days ago. Maybe it’s just a Dipt in Wine that’s a little off, or maybe DiW is a parent. It has a strange warty texture, hence, the name.
Ann’s Hybrid: Cinnamon Twisted
This one turned out to be quite impressive! I decided to call it “Cinnamon Twisted” instead of Cinnamon Twist. Original Post from 2014: Tentative name, dependent on more mature leaves. Parentage might be Burning Bush or Tiny Toes, or maybe Mint Mocha.
Ann’s Hybrid: Bulltwinkle
Leaves remind me of Bullwinkle’s antlers.
Ann’s Hybrid: Bright Midnight
This one grew up from a seedling last year and came into its own this year.
